henry_toesIt’s the first Tuesday in November. Now’s the time to make your voice heard on an important issue: Just how far did that last little piggy go in the familiar nursery rhyme?

It’s understood that the final piggy goes “wee, wee, wee – all the way home”. But does that mean that he returns to position 2 with the other housebound piggy (the three “wee’s” lend credence to this theory) OR does he return ALL the way home to the original big toe at position 1?

You decide in our scientific poll below.

  1. Well, since my comment in the above important survey was blocked as spam, I’ll address the matter here. The opportunity to weigh in on this vital issue facing us today is much appreciated, and we should all be thankful for our right to vote on the piggy issue. Also, I’m quite certain my choice is the correct one! The littlest piggy went “Wee, wee, wee, wee all the way home”, four wees up to the big toe, on all my childrens’ and grandchildrens’ toes. (although I admit I have not tested this out on my youngest grandchild, Henry’s toes yet!)

      • Yes, Mark, we might be like Florida and need a re-count. PS – I loved the cute election day post, it was fun & funny! Once I read a poem somewhere which included a line about angels being tempted to kiss a baby’s feet. Looking at Henry’s little foot, I can understand. Though I’m far from an angel, I too, want to kiss his sweet little foot. PPS – the four wees have been handed down from your Grandma Ethel’s version of Little Piggy, so it’s a family tradition!
