Here are a few highlights of Ona and Kaylie’s visit. Unfortunately, I was unable to take a lot of pictures because I had Henry boy to tend to, but Mark made this video. I think they had a great time. I missed them a lot when they left. I always miss my family when they leave, so nice to have them around.
The girls helped bathe Henry every night. Nice shampoo-hawk!

One last pic before the girls head for the airport. We already miss them!
Henry’s cousins, Ona-Rain and Kaylie departed today for their return trip back to Colorado after a week of sightseeing and babysitting. We’ll miss them and hope to see them again soon. I’ll let Jacqui recap their visit later, but in the meantime: here’s three redheads on a couch again plus a baby enjoying their attention.
Jacqui signed up for parent/child swimming classes at Imagine Swimming. Today was their second session, but so far Henry’s been a little apprehensive about the idea. We’ll see if he warms up to it eventually.
Even though his daycare isn’t far from my office, I occasionally check in via email with Maryellen who sends reassuring updates about Henry. Here’s an image she sent today of Henry and Atticus holding hands.
Henry tagged along with his mom and cousins as they visited The High Line, a park built on an elevated abandoned train line. They dropped him off at the apt. with me while they continued on to visit the 9/11 Memorial. Afterwards when they returned, he resumed being the center of attention and got a special bedtime reading of “The Lorax” by Dr. Seuss. (We’d watched the recent animated movie adaptation the night before on Netflix and all pretty much agreed that the book is much better.)

My two nieces arrived today to meet their littlest Cousin for the first time. Ona-Rain and Kaylie will be staying here for a week. It is Kaylie’s first visit to New York City. We are excited to show her around. Henry was somewhat confused to see so many redheads in one apartment.
