Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile

Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile was given to Henry as a Christmas gift. It is a series of stories by Bernard Waber about a crocodile living in New York City. Receiving this gift was the first I heard about Lyle, but it is well-known as a classic children’s series. Henry and I can learn about it together. Hopefully, we can pique his interest in books early, but right now, he listens for about two to three pages and then grabs at the book and wants to chew on it.

  1. This is such a great picture. He is drinking in so much and watching your every expression. Great great stuff. Love you.

  2. It really is the sweetest. Love and miss you guys so much. Wish we could take in some book babies and that kinda stuff together. *sigh* …

  3. How cute this photo is! I’m so glad ya’ll are reading to Henry as I’m sure he’ll be more likely to enjoy books as he grows. I’d never heard of Lyle the Crocodile either. Wish I could be there to read to Henry, too! Love, Grandma Lois
