Bean Bag Boy

Henry received an early Christmas gift yesterday, a bean bag chair for sitting in while he reads. We had him posing on the bean bag, but at some point we hope he sits in it on his own. Currently he resides on my lap most of the time. This doesn’t bother me as I know someday he will not want to hang out with either of his parents much.

  1. There isn’t a picture that you post of Henry that is a bad picture. He is just adorable. Thanks for the Christmas card.

  2. Beautiful photos of our beautiful boy! I can’t believe how grown-up he looks in the photo wearing his jeans. The bean bag chair looks like a perfect Christmas gift for Henry. Mark, either you or your brother or sister had at least one bean bag chair during your childhood – does that ring a bell for you? I remember the bean bag’s seams tearing & little foam beads spilling out! About the card, hey, I’m jealous of Betty! Hope our Christmas card arrives soon before I have to sneak over to Betty’s house & steal hers πŸ™‚ Love & miss y’all, Mom/Gran Lois

      • I guess you’re right, but the memory of vacuuming the beads up has totally left me. But I think bean bag chairs, being so close to the floor, are great for kids to plop themselves into and get cozy and comfy, at least for as long as you can get them to sit still !

  3. This one kinda made me get a little weapy for some reason. He just looks so grown up and cute. Love that he is still reading….and watching Jeopardy. πŸ™‚
