Henry loves books, for chew toys mostly. He does stop chewing long enough when I read “Dr. Seuss’s ABC: An Amazing Alphabet Book!” really fast. His favorite place to sit and chew/read alone so far is under the coffee table. This space has become his own book nook.
Henry tagged along with his mom and cousins as they visited The High Line, a park built on an elevated abandoned train line. They dropped him off at the apt. with me while they continued on to visit the 9/11 Memorial. Afterwards when they returned, he resumed being the center of attention and got a special bedtime reading of “The Lorax” by Dr. Seuss. (We’d watched the recent animated movie adaptation the night before on Netflix and all pretty much agreed that the book is much better.)
