Uncle Chris gave Henry a big T. Rex as a gift. Dinosaur attacks were reported in the area soon after.

We attended the rehearsal dinner for our niece, Michelle’s wedding to Tyler Goff, for which Henry will be serving as ring bearer. He did really well at the rehearsal considering he did not have a real nap the whole day and we were expecting the worst. The rehearsal dinner was held at Emeril’s Delmonico and Henry held up with a great spirit until he just couldn’t keep his eyes open anymore. We are hoping for the best tomorrow for the big show.

Henry passes out on my lap during the toasts.
Last night Henry encountered boiled crawfish on the menu for the first time. So far he finds them more hilarious than delicious. He enjoyed my demonstration of how to peel them and suck their heads but couldn’t bring himself to actually taste.

Henry took his second trip to New Orleans yesterday. He did not enjoy the plane ride, but once we exited the plane he brightened up when walking through the airport and got excited seeing Paw Paw waiting for us in the terminal.
We returned home yesterday after our visit to New Orleans. It was a fun trip and especially nice for Henry to meet family members he hadn’t yet and to spend time with everyone in his ancestral home. Thanks to all who hosted and helped us celebrate. Here are more photos:

Henry had yet another birthday celebration today when he helped his Paw Paw Butch celebrate his 75th and they both received gifts. Henry also marked the occasion by taking a few tentative baby steps to his Aunt Cheryl.
