Henry spent his Saturday afternoon visiting with constituents (and birds) on the Great Lawn in Central Park. A group of older men that he passed committed to voting for Henry. After Henry gave them fives and waved, one of the fellows said, “I’d vote for you!” Henry turned on the charm and should get some great returns during the primaries.
Henry and I met our friend Dina at the Brooklyn Bridge Park to hang out at the Pre-Party for the upcoming Brooklyn Half Marathon. Henry enjoyed the free sports drink samples so much that he might be better prepared for the race than Dina and me. He got plenty of electrolytes in his system and as the vendor pointed out, “luckily it is all sugar free.”
Now that spring has arrived, there are many free activities all over our neighborhood. Henry and I went to play time at Wagner Park (a park within Battery City) today. It is an open play time for two hours with lots of different toys and kids that are Henry’s age and a little older. We took a Shake Shack break on the way home.
